Friends in the rain

Shot this picture at Lake Cushman of my girlfriend and one of her good friends. Used an on camera speed light along with a diffuser cap and also experimented with a new post-processing workflow. Would love any constructive feedback!

This is a great first post! The smile you see on your girlfriends face and her friend is the same smile I get when someone posts!

I like what you caught here. You have catch lights from the speed light in their eyes. There is no glare on the glasses. You have some nice limited DOF to render the background soft to help separate it from the people. The B&W processing looks great too. If I had one suggestion, and that would have been the hair on the girl with glasses. Her hair is a bit pushed up and bunched up. Ideally, that hair would have been pulled down and straight. But that's a pretty small nit in terms of the overall goodness of this shot.

I agree with Jim all the way around, though the hair doesn't bother me. But I think the taller girl has something in her teeth, 2 spots that I would clean up. It is such a great pic of them that it makes me want to tell her as I feel I am right there with them .
