Golden Glow

This is a sunset from the other day down at Little Corona beach in Corona Del Mar California. It had been raining as I was driving down, the opening in the clouds as I was driving appeared to be too far north of me, but I continued on and am glad I did.

All comments are welcome,

Jim

Neat rays to go along with your glow. Nice little incoming wave on calm waters to round it out. Glad you kept driving so we could see it too.

Nice light - wish the crud in the water in the foreground wasn't there.
Thanks Jameel.

That isn't crud, the water is clear, you are looking into the tide pools there. If you look close you can see all sorts of cool things in there.

Hmmm.... looking at it some more. It's not crud as I said, the water is totally clean there, but I can see where not knowing it might look like crud. Maybe I need to go with a pano crop on this and lose the bottom.

Great sunset seascape.

I notice in Oregon sometimes the sea churns up some foam from the bottom at certain times, and it's gone the next day. At first I thought this might be like the phosphate suds we get in streams sometimes, but I never saw it in the ocean. What is it, a plant below the surface?

Thanks Ben! It's just rock, it's the tide pool, so you will see some sea anemones and other sea creatures mixed in there. The water is really crystal clear, that's why you can see right into the tide pool. And while I know it, after Jameel's comments I am thinking that I need to perhaps go with a pano crop to lose it, since to the casual viewer they can't tell it's a tide pool. I know, but I am seeing others won't know.
