"Golden Weir"

Interesting - I started looking for the reflections before it sank in that there weren't any

That's a hard dynamic range to cover with the bright edge along the bottom. The color in the trees is quite remarkable. The hills behind look like they are a few years into recovering from a fire.

Hey Garrick,

That sure is some pretty fall colors! I like this one, with the water that's a cool addition.

The trees are just a little dark, is that how you wanted them to look? Myself, I would probably use a layer mask and just brighten it up just a hair while also adding a little contrast to give it a little more pop. Not too much, but I was thinking just a little bit more... :)

Thanks for your input Jim and yes, I was thinking just about the same as you suggested. Cheers.. -Gaz

Hey Jim, I took your thought and lightened up the trees a bit and gave it a slight contrast bump, what do you think?

Cheers,
