Continuing my drive back on 30 April, now on Hwy 261 and after dropping down off of Cedar Mesa, just before reaching Mexican Hat, I took a side trip to Goosenecks State Park, on the San Juan River.
The light was horrible, looking almost directly toward the afternoon sun, so lots of glare and washing out what color there was.
Soooo, b&w was the order of the day.
Amazing geology, layers, and terrain nonetheless!
Sharp eyes will notice parts of Monument Valley, upper left, some 15 miles distant.
