Grand View

Bouncing around a bit with the files from my recent trip. Sorry.
This is a 4-shot pano shortly after dawn from Grand View Point, Canyonlands NP, near Moab, UT. Looking southeasterly, the La Sal Mtns. on the left edge, Abajo (about 28 miles distant) on the right.
Not the prettiest sunrise I've seen, but that view.....

Nice, Barry. That lower area is Monument Basin. You can see the White Rim Road going around it. Looking in it is amazing and provided for some fine photography. It's quite the road to get there.

I know this view - very nice take on it. I like the atmospherics you had for this pano with enough furniture in the sky to keep the ground company.

Thanks, Jeffrey! Yeah, I wanted to take that road around the area, but after talking to a ranger, I want to wait 'til I return and perhaps rent a real 4wd with higher clearance than my little Cherokee has.

Yeah, at least I had that. All too often I get either bare naked or solid overcast. Thanks for looking in, Alan!
