Harbor Seals

Hi all, sorry I've been MIA so much lately. I finally got out to get some shots in even though it was a drab overcast day. Funny thing is even with the poor shooting conditions it felt great to be out anyaway. I walked over seven miles on the beach before I came across these wonderful pair of Harbor Seals. Don't mind the grain, the high ISO beat them up a little. As always all C&C welcomed

Hey Joe,

These look great to me! I am glad that you were able to get back out.

#2 is my favorite followed by #1. Though #3 is interesting too with the way that one seal is twisting to look at you.

These are all nice images, Joe. I think you could improve the fist one by cropping out the out-of-focus rocks in the background so that they don't detract from main subject.

Really liking that first one.
They almost look like they are rolling over for a tummy rub.

Thank you guys. Alan they do look warm and inviting just like a big water dog. Thats the closest I have been able to get to them, the lighter one was well aware of my presence and I didn't want them to bolt into the water. over all it was a great experience to shoot them in this way.
