Here are a few favorite hippo shots from my recent trip.

1) Along the Chobe river with mouth wide open

2) This big guy was just wandering around on dry land in Khwai. Even gave us a little bluff charge...

3) Profile shot - I was too close for the long lens so went for some details

Nice shots of these hippos. Interesting how many scars are visible on the specimens in #2 and #3.

All great! The second one is my favorite because it captures a nasty disposition and two Oxpeckers
