"Hungry Bear"

This was one of the highlights of my trip next to getting a photograph with the famous wildlife photographer Thomas Mangelson!

While in the park my mom and I were getting ready to turning off Teton Park Rd. to go to Colter Bay Area. I saw an emergency vehicle coming towards us so I waited for them to pass. As soon as they did a ranger also turned on their lights and I got out of the way. Mom said "lets follow them" OK!! so we did. We cam upon a bear eating this dead elk along side the road. of course my mom couldn't take our eyes off for a second!!! that we both didn't get any pics of the bear eating the roadkill. We pulled off at a turn out up ahead sat for awhile I told her to get in the back to take photos.... by the time we got turned around and headed back to that direction they had hazed the bear took the elk and all was done! However I did capture the bear coming back down the mountain looking for his dinner!!
