I am back

Welcome back Andrey. I like your return image - this has a really nice feeling of depth to it with the light highlighting the tall tree.

I am curious about the reddish looking band of trees in the background - is that a natural color or are some of the trees dying off? We have a lot of forests showing insect damage similar to this in the western US is why I ask.

Hey Andrey! Welcome back my friend! :)

What a cool array of colors in this Andrey and finding that one tree that is rising above it all.

Hopefully in the midst of another busy year you can find time for your friends here at FocalWorld. :)

Thank you Alan.
That question puzzled my mind too, so i went exploring, the brown patch caught on fire few years back, there are signs of the pink chemical, fire suppressing residue, on some stones, that they use from FD planes, will post some images from that area soon.

Thank you for the warm welcome.
That color and light play really caught my eye on few occasions i shot there, but never kinda got any pleasing compositions, until a late summer sunset me and Avi went scouting.
Cheers.
