If only there was some snow in Yosemite Valley I would be up there photographing, instead it's brown and barren so I have to dig in the archives to find some snow on the ground. This was kind of cool how the clouds being lit with color parted a bit to let a view in to the background clouds that didn't get any color on them and were a cool blue color.

That is certainly a pleasant scene to view - even it is from the archives. The fresh stuff is always more photogenic.

Man, are you right. I've been waiting for a decent snowdump in the valley for almost three months. This is so weird, but more realistically, it is scary and a very dangerous situation for the rest of the year for California. Nice image, btw.
