Inside Out

Until yesterday when I shot this image in the Gifford Pinchot NF I had no idea such a plant existed and it wasn't until I could see it up close on my screen that I could identify it - the Inside Out Flower. Yes that really is it's name and it almost appears to be upside down on the stems since the stem goes down into the middle of the flower. The flowers are quite small - the blooms are 1cm across at the top.

Nice job, Alan. I have never seen this before either. The flower looks a little bit like something from the nightshade family
