Intimate Landscape

The west has sweeping landscapes that almost overwhelm the senses. That's why I moved from Illinois to Arizona when I retired so I could photograph them most any time. The Midwest has beautiful landscapes as well but on a much smaller scale. This is from Messenger Woods, a secluded little woodland gem in northwest Illinois.

As I said a couple of nights ago this is simply beautiful. The white flowers with the green leaves and the touch of blue is a great color combination.
