Into the darkness

A scene view inside of a nebular forest, this vegetation predominates in scarps and also are like islands between fields, because of the great moisture, in a place that the fog is constant. This trees are very low, and to take the shot I had to lower myself.

I really like to immerse on this green caos, I'm feel like on a voyage to the another dimension...

The picture was make on a bright day, so the high lights are very strongs, I know.

Interesting scene Raphael - this looks a lot like the forests of the Pacific Northwest with the moss encrusted trunks. I like the greens in this image.

I do understand the problem of trying to shoot a scene like this with the strong light behind the forest canopy. That can be a problem even on a cloudy day.

Great Presentation Raphael,
I could spend much time in this place. As with any forest, the older the better. A well established woodland can draw us into that magical place of nature and with that we might find our place. We can feel it (nature) from the rocks and the rivers, but the trees speak loudly, reminding us to pay attention.
This is the kind of image that would lend itself to some serious messing around in a raw converter...

I agree with Alan on the resemblance to the Rain Forests in the ONP. Lovey scene here - not sure of the location. The highlights don't bother me and are feature of these scenes always, because of the darkness inherent in a forest scene against a bright sky.

Yeah, I agree this type of forest looks like the forest of "northern your country", of course, based on pictures what I had saw.

Anyway, it is composed with many mosses and lichens, because is very
moist, where the rain and fog are also constant, like that places you have mentioned, I believe.

Finally, that forest is locate here in southern Brazil, Martín, in the hight lands or fields formed for volcanic spills.
