Hello everyone,
I currently have the iPhone 12 Pro Max and 12 pro and I did a comparison of the two Shooting the Milky Way. The 12 pro max has a 47% larger sensor than the 12 pro. Therefore the 12 pro max will do better in low light. I took a 30” exposure using both iPhones and I tracked the sky using the Skywatcher Star Adventurer for the 30” exposure. Not a long exposure, but 30” is as long as night mode will allow at the moment. The images are a little noisy, ISO 5000 for the 12 pro max, ISO 4000 on the 12 pro. I applied the same settings for each photo in Lightroom mobile.
I added a screenshot of the ProRAW image.
