Is This PP More Desirable for Street Photography?

Hey Tom, for fun, why don't we move this to the Critique forum and then people can play with this and come up with suggestions? Not that people can't do it here, but Critique is where people like Ben and others normally brainstorm. :)

I think it is, the other was a bit harsh.

I am not sure street photography needs a certain sort of PP (post processing) as it does need to make a statement about ordinary street life. Find some common and representative element. I suppose some try to emulate older film styles. But I am not sure its required, and if so, it should match a particular film under typical conditions and cameras used.

I like this better then HDR. The processing should fit the context, and so I like this better in plain color. The last one was in a gritty HDR and I don't see a family scene as being gritty. Gritty HDR is perhaps better suited for buildings?
