I think this is super cool Brian! Congrats!

I have seen a few recent ISS photos on FB but didn't really think much about them other then they looked cool. Do you know if this happens a lot?

It doesn't seem to happen all that often. I woman I follow on instagram who lives near me showed me the website to check.

That's cool! I captured the ISS transiting the sun during the eclipse couple of years ago. My buddy get text message alerts when ISS is going to fly over his house...

I have an app that'll do that as well. The ISS seems to come over Colorado a lot. But I sure thought it was cool to catch it between the moon and earth. The sun would be awesome.

Wow those are truly cool and very unique! I have seen the ISS silhouetted in front of the moon before, but not right as it approaches it. Very nice, looks like you really did pull out some excellent detail too, hard to do here in Co typically with the seeing we usually get. Really great capture!

Thanks Mike. Living out in the sticks really helps. This was only about 15 minutes from home. There will be a few more in January. So I'm definitely going to try again.
