Its that time of year - Cygnus targets

Last weekend a few of us had a local star party. It was still about 85 at midnight, but oh well. That is pretty rare in Western Oregon. It was darker than at my house and probably was a bortle 4. Still, very enjoyable. Attached are my versions of the Crescent nebula and a good portion of the Veil nebula complex. Each was about an 8-hour One shot color camera integration.

Wow! Awesome work on the Crescent Nebula. I had thought I couldn't capture that, but maybe I can now with my new gear?

The Veil also looks super cool, and seeing yours reminds me that I need to capture that with my new astro camera.

You are in Western Oregon? I had planned on being up in Oregon tomorrow driving North from SoCal with stops at Shasta, etc. But with all of the wildfires I made a change of plans, so that will have to hold up. I was going to go to Crater Lake and do both Milky Way and Deep Space up there.

I really wanted to get back up to Crater Lake, so I might reschedule the trip for the middle to end of Sept. It's too far out to know for sure.
