Jealousy

I don't often covet other people's possessions but I came close twice on Friday morning. This is Derwentwater in the English Lake District about a 40 min drive away. My first "oh wouldn't that be nice" moment came when viewing the boathouse on Derwent Island, the main house is hidden from view on the other side of the island.

What really got me jealous was this house and especially the boathouse.

The view from the window is pretty good.

Given the state of the world with famines, wildfires, wars, disease etc. I am, of course fortunate to live where I do and have all that I need. Ken

The soft light in #2 is lovely and sets off the variety of trees.
