Jellyfish Nebula

Love it Chuck! You got some really great detail here. I just downloaded my Jellyfish Nebula images, but it will be a day or two before I can look at them. All of that nebulosity at the top of this image is really cool, and when I first saw images a while back of the Jellyfish, I don't recall even noticing that. But I like how you included it. My capture will be a bit tighter I think then this, I would like to do a wider one to get that veil like you did.

Thank you Jim, I actually cropped the top part off. Here is a link to the full image with just the edges slightly cropped. https://pbase.com/image/173320850
I'm not too happy with the top part because I didn't get enough time on the object. I might try to get more but the transparent skies don't come that ofter here in Fl. and to add bad data to good data is a waste.

Hey Chuck, I am liking the whole image too! Maybe crop just the top off a bit at right above that large blue area? It almost looks like the Jellyfish is shooting something out like that. I had never realized there was so many compositions available around it.

I was working on processing the Comet 2022 E3 that I captured Tuesday night, but processing the comet is looking to really involve part finesse and part banging my head on the wall.... :) So I took a break from it to process the 5 hours of the Jellyfish I got on Tuesday before the comet. I am going to post my OSC version in a few.

Very very nice - really impressive. I actually like that wider view myself getting the faint OIII regions in play. I posted on the higher detail version - that REALLY shows off the detail in a way hard to accomplish here on FW...
