Johnston Cave

This shallow cave (really just an indentation in the canyon wall) is off the main trail in Banff's Johnston Canyon and nicely frames this rock formation.

Any thoughts are welcome.

I have seen this scene once before but without the snow. Looks nice with the fresh dusting you captured here. I like having the rock shelter walls included to frame Johnston Canyon.

Hey Kyle, this is a winner! The snow really puts this over the top as it makes the cave really work as a natural frame and vignette. You have spoiled me now, I don't think I will ever like the summer shots of this as much again seeing how great it looks in snow.

I have seen this too, however without the snow and didn't even bother to take a picture. The snow changes this completely. Well seen.
