I was up early this morning and noticed the moon shining through what I thought was a thin fog. So I ran down to Pickthorne Lake hoping some dawn color might show up.
The fog got thicker as the sun-up approached. The moon disappeared for a little while, then showed up again, albeit faintly.
The sun finally made an appearance a full 35 minutes after rising.
