Today I am going to feature my favorite spring desert wildflower: California Poppy and Mexican Gold Poppy. The former typically occurs in California and the latter is typically found in Arizona.

Thanks for starting this Doug. And that's interesting about the Mexican Gold Poppy. Not sure I was aware of them, or had noticed them before. They look really cool with how they go from yellow to orange.
