Hey Todd,

First off welcome to FocalWorld! What a wonderful introductory post!

If you hadn't said anything about the other eye not being in focus, I sure wouldn't have noticed. This pose is anything but conventional, but it sure works! That is some great creativity on your part. I like the natural light, and I like the monotone look, it works with that couch/chair which from this angle has an old time leather feel to it.

Thank you Jim... I appreciate your critique and I’m happy this came out this way. I only had about 5 minutes to work with her before she had to leave for church (we were do we for the weekend) and that pose came to mind. I knew I had to do something different. Glad you like it. This is a great forum.

Like this a lot. Even though she is dressed in contemporary, the image has a bit of '20s Hollywood glam. Nice.

I'm with Ryan, the look, along with the b/w treatment, is definitely retro but it works perfectly here. Looks like you'll put this new lens to good use.
