One from yesterday... I have the Nikon 105mm f/1.4E but I don’t use it much. I’ll keep it though as it is great for astrophotography... anyway, I’ve switched most of my lenses to Zeiss, which are fantastic! Here is a portrait taken with my 2/135 ZF.2

This is really nice, but the oof foreground grass which would be ok but it is intruding too much I think.

I like this Todd! She has the greatest smile, and I like this pose and location. The OOF grasses work for me. One of the things I enjoy about portrait photography is it often lets us break many of our landscape photography rules and normal choices.

Thanks Jim. It seems portraiture is mostly what I do now, no marvelous landscape opportunities here.
