It was -21 C when I took this a few years ago at Wedge Pond. My batteries failed due to leaving the gear in the boot (trunk) and I had to warm them under my arm for several minutes to revive them. Luckily I made it just in time for the first glow. We had a great day up at the lakes despite the deep snow that made movement difficult! The figure, a photographic friend ("Pappy") who was my host, left in on a whim.
