Kestrel On a Wire

The Kestrel is one of my favorite birds around where I live. They usually aren't this forgiving with their time, but this one let me take a couple pictures before he flew off.

Thanks Jim. That's with the 150-600 G2. He was on a wire about 30 yards away. This is pretty much the reason I bought that lens. I'm pretty happy with it so far. Especially for the price.

They are definitely one of my favorites. They seem to be pretty thick around my area. But certainly not so photogenic. I appreciate it.
