Kirkjufell B&W

Here's a B&W version from Kirkjufell in Western Iceland. I processed the top half with an orange filter to darken the sky and pick up the highlights in the cloud and mountain. The bottom half was with a blue filter to highlight the falls.

Any thoughts are welcome!

Hey Kyle,

This is really cool looking. Thanks for explaining about the use of the filters. For us older film guys who shot B&W, the idea of the use of color filters is common knowledge, but I am sure there is a whole generation of photographers who never shot in B&W who wouldn't know about the use of color filters when shooting B&W to enhance contrast or to change tonality in an image.

Very nice! I've done similar blending on some of my images. Did you use Silver FX to make two images then layer & blend?
