Last Light in Brookings

This is the last shot of the day at South Beach in Harris Beach State Park near Brookings. I have posted some shots from earlier in the evening for this particular sunset but this was the last one before I packed up and climbed up from the beach. My camera was picking up more light than could be seen with the naked eye by the time I shot this but happily that is when some of the best colors come out. This shot was my favorite of the bunch.

C&C always welcome.

That is some great late post sunset colour. People watching a sunset just don't understand why photographers hang around so long after the sun has gone. Looks a nice beach. I don't know it even though I've been to Bandon (which I believe is nearby) so many times.

That's a nice shot Alan. It evokes a very peaceful emotion for me. I like the way the faint cloud line in background curves up to meet the big rocks on the right. Nice tonal qualities too.

That's also why we have to carry flashlights to find the trail to leave :) Brookings is about 6 miles north of the California border.
