It's a very popular hike. There were 2 groups (families) going in as I was coming out & this was during the COVID-19 scare that kept most people at home. The only other places I saw that many (or more) groups were Sheiks Canyon in Cedar Mesa & Hole In The Rock Road canyons. It only takes a few minutes, hiking from the bottom, to reach the super narrow & dark section.

Thanks for the crop suggestion - I'll check it out (you should see what I already cropped!). Footprints are an interesting thing. Photographers generally shun them unless it's a single set making for a nice leading line. Some years ago, I polled the people (non-photographers -- the people who actually buy prints) who get links to my website when I add new photos. It was split pretty evenly between preferring shots with footprints in them or without. Those who preferred footprints said that it made them feel like the place was more friendly, accessible, somewhere that they, regular people could go. I used to bring a little whisk broom with me to places like the Wave so I could brush footprints away, but then it just looked like somebody used a brush on the sand. In places like Leprechaun, the only way to not have a ton of footprints would to be there right after a flash flood.
