Light between the storms

Yet another storm ends while raw next one is on the horizon. Today is dumping rain again, but two days ago the morning was perfect. Here are two images made fifteen minutes apart, as the skies were rapidly changing.

The Harbor at Santa Barbara, CA. The first one shows the Channel Islands, 25 miles offshore.

I love the sunrise colors in both of these.

I can certainly relate to the rainy part but we aren't getting quite the muddy mess you have down south. Hopefully you live on high ground.

Love it Jeffrey, that's some really nuclear skies in #1. It's pretty cool seeing the harbor in each of these, but then I had the thought, have you flown past the harbor on any of your excursions and captured just the ocean and the sky?

I could. I just need to get used to the much milder foreground interest.
