Light in the Forest

Went for a walk in the Olympic National Park forest the other day looking for isolated light patches. Here are three examples of what I found.

I like the filtered light in all three of these shots Roy. Especially the last one with the draped moss on the branches. The first one displays the unfurling young fern fronds nicely too. Nice to see some of your work again.

I need to drive up there and shoot these forests again - hanging out in the suburbs is getting old.

Nice seen and captured! The type of subject that makes one want to take a shot, but then too often when reviewing it later the magic of it just didn't translate to what the camera captured. Here it would seem you did 'get the shot' - lovely light for sure. I like the 1st, but it is #3 (both for the light and the comp) that stands out for me the most in this set.
