Jim, I was at the Merced Refuge. You might try the San Joaquin River Refuge, I heard it's been very good.....

No, just the ambient light (which was very nice...fog just clearing). All with a Sony a7riii and Sony 100-400 + 1.4 converter + crop mode for 840mm equivalent. 1/2000s at f/8 with auto ISO. Thanks much.
