Need to go back there to get some better quality shots, altough this one is sort of ok. considering I only have 35 mm lense... I need more diversity

I like the feeling of isolation above the cloud layer. Neat scene.
Interesting, I need to think about this one Mike. I like the look of the light, but the composition isn’t quite as compelling as I think it could be. The horizon being at 50% I think hurts it to a degree.
Yeah, shooting with just a 35mm outdoors like this is going to make one wish they could go wider or tighter at times.
Thinking on this, I kind of think that you would be better served to go with a pano crop losing the top half of the sky. I think it balances better that way.

This is a neat scene. If it's close to you, you could get back often and find the best time of day or year. Until you get more lenses, consider doing a pano stitch which only works for a more wide angle. A 24-70 zoom is pretty versatile for landscapes. In the meantime, Jins crop idea is what I would do here.

I agree with Jim on this one Mike. I would crop out the sky to just above the clouds. That bright sky provides more dead space than is needed. think you could also darken the clouds a bit to give the image more depth.
Don't worry about the 35mm lens. You can always crop to make the image what you want provided you have enough pixels to work with.
