With snow on the ground here, spring can't come soon enough. This is from the local Arboretum on a spring day some years ago.

I hear you loud and clear. I had plans to head south into the Mojave Desert this last week and aborted that journey once I saw the forecasts for extended cold. The weather that is keeping us in snow flurries is the same as what gave Ryan (lightsgood) snow down near Las Vegas.

Nicely done. The bug is in perfect focus, while the soft background really complements/frames it (esp. the bottom section). Too bad the stamen isn't in focus.
