Memorial at Marlboro Point

As I was scouting a place to shoot at Marlboro Point I spotted this memorial under a pinion pine. I concluded it was probably a place where the friends/family buried ashes of somebody with a strong connection to the place. Maybe even the Marlboro Man, But I googled it and did not find this name.

Just sharing an interesting find, hope it's not offensive.

Wow, just 45 years old and recent. I agree the person must have had a connection here. Just by the dates I would say that this is not the Marlboro Man.

I don't know if this is legal to do, but it is rather cool.
