Think an extra bit of temp overall would be worth trying. It would help the foreground sand, and also the right side of the dune. This would give a better idea of light direction, and balance the composition. If that works, you could then desaturate the small left dune.

The FG dune is the dominating element in the original, love the ripples, but nothing else can compete with it. Cropping off the lower 20% could provide some balance with the distant mountains and sky. Either way it's so good that it doesn't matter which way you slice or dice it.
Fine imaging Kyle. The re-post looks just like the original. Oh, just so slightly different. Remove more magenta from the hills. If that get too strong from using a contrast adjustment layer of some type, try changing the 'kind' to Luminence (at the bottom of the list). That allows the contrast changes but maintains original saturation.
There is an issue with Uploading Photos (attachjments). I am not sure what the problem is, and I am looking into it. You can still try to Create your Threads and Upload your Photos, but it is hanging up during the Upload.
