I was told that in order to get milk, you had to have children in the household that were less than 5 years old or there had to be a pregnant woman in the household. Then you qualified to get a ration card. People showed up to this doorway with their ration card and their own bottle. These women filled the bottles from milk that was in the stockpot.
Which do you like better - color or B&W?
