Milky Way over the Cyclpos

Went out to Alabama Hills last weekend. Didn't want to fight the crowds at Mobius Arch so I made it out to Cyclops. Shot this on my Pentax K1ii with Rokinon 24mm. 15 images stacked to reduce noise. 10 Seconds, F2.5, ISO 12800.

Feedback always welcome.

I like the look of this Brandon! That Milky Way sure looks nice. What is going on inside the arch though? It's blue, but I cant tell what it is. If it's the sky, then I think you need to go back and work on that part. If it's the hills, it should be brown/tan colored. Otherwise, I really like this and how you lit up the ground layer.

Thanks for the feedback Jim. I used a small LED flashlight on the inside of the arch that definitely had a blue tint. Does this version look better to you? I used a radial filter in LM and just adjusted the white balance for that part of the photo to remove that blue. Thoughts?

Much better than the original but since you already have that in a radial filter you could warm it up even more. I would suggest using the bright spot on the rocks on the left in front as a target color balance for your radial filter area.

Brandon, the edit is much better! :)

But as Alan suggests, warm it up even more. I don’t think you want even a hint of blue inside the arch, it’s too confusing visually.
