Here are some more specimens of minerals from my collection.

Dolomite (pink), with chalcopyrite crystals (brass colored).

Aurichalcite (aqua) incased in Limonite.

Calcite and Fluorite crystals.

Beautiful natural minerals. I know that Dolomite was found in the White mountains and perhaps the Inyos. It was a regular cargo for the Southern Pacific Narrow Gauge Railroad running between Laws and Keeler.

A couple pictures of some Botryoidal Fluorite we found here in Sandoval County New Mexico, small fry prospect

We plan to go back out there soon to hopefully collect some better samples, just waiting for the temp there to come down a little it's been in the triple digits there and there's zero sun coverage

That's really cool that you are able to get these from a real mine. Both samples look great. Hopefully I can go out with you to a mine or two once it gets cooler.

Nice specimens, as always. I've never heard of anything being referred to as "bass colored" before.

That should have been brass colored.

That should have been brass colored.

Ahh, that makes more sense. My angler friends probably would have argued that bass come in many different colors.......
