Monument Valley

Had the opportunity to pass through a few weeks ago. Love this shot, but has haze to it. I've been playing around in LR with the adjustment brush to darken/dehaze. I've chosen to post the image as WIP, to get thoughts, suggestions, etc to see if I'm on the right track. Adjustments made to left side of image... Thanks.

Your work on the left side of the image is an nice improvement, but the results might be to dark compared to the foreground...
Comp-wise the shot works, roads and paths are usually appealing, as a way through the scene and the inherent longing for the open road that some of us are infected with.

I know that view, and I would use the haze, not lose it, to add to the sense of distance out in the desert, especially with the monoliths in Monument Valley. Haze is a natural phenomena that is useful at times.
