In the aptly named valley.

One of my whirlwind road trips at end of November 2014. Covered Bryce canyon, Arches, Canyonlands, Monument Valley and Grand Canyon. I tend to do these on a whim and alone, easy for me to do "Let's see where this road goes..." type of adventures.

The sunrise went on for a long time and was one of the most beautiful and stunning display of colors I've seen in Monument Valley.

That's so great Sunny! An epic sunrise. The ground might be a bit darker then usual, but it works, especially with the tail lights of the vehicles on the road to add some definition to the ground.
