Moonlight "View"

The toughest shots require major sacrifices in time and energy to get to the perfect location. This isn't one of those. I rolled out of bed and stepped onto our balcony at "The View" hotel to capture Monument Valley by the light of the moon. The clouds were moving fast and were gone by sunrise.

Awesome Kyle! The stars and then the clouds are really nice and balance this well.

Those rooms are really so awesome, I also enjoy the restuarant there, I liked the food there, breakfast was really great.

Very nice. The moonlit landscape looks almost like daylight - only the stars in the sky give this the night look.

The breakfast at this point is pretty much cold cereal and bagels. Could be because it is off season. Our guide recommended that we go to the lodge in Goulding for dinner.

This was my experience too. You do not stay at that hotel for the food, that’s for sure…
