This one is from an unsuccessful morning session, by that i mean, we went to shoot the sunrise, which was disappointing, so not leave empty handed me and @Levy Davish did few macro shots.

I like the color show but wish a bit more of the subject was in focus. The focal point seems like it could have been moved back just a bit.

I sure like the look of this. Such great vibrant colors. I have done very little macro work, the guys who seem to do it a lot do focus stacking to get all of a flower in focus.

But speaking for myself, if I shot the same flower I think mine would come out just like this with the front flowers in focus.

Lovely colors. I'm in the "wish a little more of it was in focus" camp. I know it can be tough though when things in the background are close to your subject. Photography, for me, has been about concession management. That is, you always want something you can't have and you end up giving away one thing to get the most desirable aspect (and that is usually an artistic choice).

Thank you guys for your comments, i kinda agree, it would be nicer with a bit more in focus, i dont like too clinical shots, so my personal preference is abstract\shallow dof style, in this case it was too windy to anything else, and i did not want to crank up the gain too much, cause it becomes too obvious in macro shots...
