Just clicking the Like button isn't enough. Some of you will have worked out that I analyse images by looking for faults, well I can't find any. Composition, time of day, processing all first rate but I think that is as it should be. Thanks for not standing in line, the trees with a hint of Autumn colour make a lovely point if interest. Oh and I have noticed the flattened crops but that is the flaw that will grow the pearl. Ken

Nice one Alan, is this while I was in the line? Good of you to think outside the box. And for Ken, no crops here, just wild grass lands probably left over from the days when they did farm here.

Thanks Ken. I thought the scene with just the trees and the grassland was quite nice and gave more room for the tints in the trees to make their mark on the scene. I did crop this down to a pano frame to make the scene more about the mountains since a lens wide enough for the mountains had way too much sky and grass for my tastes.

Thanks - actually we were just up the road from the crowded parking area for the barn shot and ate a quick lunch while there. Did you actually shoot the barn while we were there?

Really nice image, Alan. When did you take this? BTW, I can't imagine standing in line to shoot any image. It has just gotten too crazy out there.
Thanks -

This is from last fall. I took a picture of the main barn location with the crowds and will post it after I get home from PT. I am not a fan of mob scenes no matter how much of an icon it might be.

This is really cool Alan! I am a bit late to the party here, but I sure like this.

So this is why you were slow to meet us for lunch that day. Well worth the delay.
