My Best Milky Way of 2022

2022 was a pretty good year for me capturing the Milky Way in all sorts of locations. From California to Wyoming and everywhere in between.

So as I have been doing each year, I have compiled them into a video. Please watch it, and hopefully you will enjoy it too.

As I went over them I was thinking I need to hit up some different locations this year.

I totally get you with that. The only way to really resolve that though is I would need to make them all 16:9, but then that means cropping and losing a bunch of the sky. Had I not used any of the zoom or pan functions, then I could have kept the border consistent too. But I have seen other video's that almost come alive because the person making it zoomed and panned around the still images. I have got to see what I can do about that. I am glad it was just a small nit, and I am willing to bet that the majority of non-photographers wouldn't even notice or be bothered by it.

One way to tackle it is the zoom/pan frame is 16:9 which can move within the image.

Sunsets are definitely easier! Of course when I am doing these Milky Way Timelapses, I am awake all night, so on these occassions, the Sunrise is pretty painless.
