Good morning and welcome to FocalWorld! This is a nice way to introduce your work. I like the clarity of the reflection and the color as a contrast to the shadowed rocks in the foreground.

This is a great intro and welcome to the forum. At first I thought the first image was from my home state of Utah, then I read the caption. I like the reflection. The second is also a nice high view of the valley and village below.

If you have any questions about an image, be sure to go to the critique forum.

Welcome to FocalWorld!

I really like your #1 shot, that rock spire is very cool. And I sure like the reflection of it in the water. Good eye to spot that and position it there. :)

#2 isn't grabbing me as much, though I do like how you composed it. Your idea about having that knob of rock on the right being lit up by the sun is something most of us would do, but I wonder in this case since it then almost creates an uneven feel in the foreground since the left rock isn't lit up that actually waiting a bit so all of the foreground was in shadow would have created a more even foreground and allow the eye to be channeled through that opening into the back?

#3 is cool with that hill being side lit. Nice positioning for that. I would crop off the left side a bit to lose specifically that lower left where it's lit up by the sun. Being as it's lit up while surrounded by all of that shadow is going to be a distraction and cause the eye to be drawn to it, which you don't want. So a bit of a crop I think will work wonders in it.

Thank you for your guidance! I will implement it for sure. So its fine for me to just Update the topic with new pictures? Or open new one once the landscape theme changes?

Welcome to Focal World! This is a great starting landscape post. As mentioned above, the 1st image in the set is very compelling - the lighting and reflections make it special to me. The other 2 are good technically, but the subject is not as well defined and especially for #3 I am not sure what the intended subject is. So while they are nice shots, they do not have the impact of the 1st one for me.

These areas you are shooting in appear to have lots of great potential though, and it is particularly fun to see some posts from areas in other parts of the world! With an initial post of such high quality, I definitely look forward to more posts from you in the future!

Compositionally, # 1 is the strongest as stated by several others.

For me, the shadows are a bit overbearing. Are you familiar with the technique ETTR?

Hey Michal, you should start a new Thread when you are posting new photos.

And keep on sharing! I know I am enjoying your part of the world.

Yes, it starts to get confusing about which images folks are intending to comment if the thread keeps adding on. But in rersponding to your last 2 added images:

Image #4 is very nice - exposure is very good, with just a little detail held in the dark areas, a natural looking sky color, and in general a accurate look for the time of day I am thinking. The nice road curve with the car lights also naturally leads the eye to the city lights in the distance.

Image #5 is a fun scene, with a nice exposure of what appears to be a beautiful mountain view. But for me the out of focus foreground plants (and to a lesser extend the out of focus close evergreen trees), and the way the trail on the right is seemingly cut off with a few subjects too close to the edge of the frame detracts from the image. The crop seems a little bit cramped overall.
