National Flower ???

Dandelions might as well be the national flower. They are everywhere! This field was captured one summer day in Rochester, Vermont. (PS-This is one of the very best places in Vermont to capture the true essence of this States beautiful landscapes.

They do make a nice scene here but there are those with less than magnanimous thoughts about this species. There might be some instances to making this a protected plant.

Hey Tom, what a really cool shot. And I agree, scenes like this certainly can be representative of a huge portion of America. And that's an interesting thought about the Dandelions, I hadn't thought about it that way, but there is a lot of truth about it's possibility as our national flower.

That is a pretty scene, many flowers that are fun to see in mass in the wild are considered weeds, invasive or worse.
