Natural Bridges

I was fortunate enough to get to go to Utah again this year. Completely compulsive planning at the last minute.
The wife and I hiked to this bridge to do night shots. Glad it was the easiest one to reach.

Nice one Keith. I have never hiked in Natural Bridges at night before but it makes sense that it would be a great place to get away from the light pollution.

I also really like the exposure on the bridge itself and the Milky Way is perfect. This time of year I think can be hard to find locations where a vertical Milky Way really works, but you found a perfect way to place it.

That's fantastic! I know this is a official dark sky site - I really need to get there someday. I think this is one of the better composed versions of a night MW shot I have seen. Is that all natural light on the foreground? It works really well in any case.

Well done, great composition and position of the MW. I'm not a fan of light painting, but this is pretty subtle. If it were mine I'd tone down the trees in the lower right. I'd also darken the sky and work on the color (+blue, -green) to make the stars pop.
