NGC 3293 Gem Cluster and Neighbors in Narrowband Foraxx Palette with RGB Stars

Was notified a couple of days ago that this will be APOD for May 1 ! Now I'm convinced the first 2 maybe weren't flukes

NGC 3293 is an Open Cluster consisting of more than 100 stars brighter than magnitude 14 and within some impressive surrounding Ha nebulosity. This cluster which is around 9,00 light-years from Earth is located in the constellation Carina and shares the cosmic neighborhood with the popular NGC 3324 Gabriela Mistral.
94 x 300s SHO and 116 x 30s RGB subs shot @0C across 5 nights for a total integration time of about 9hrs

Next time the nebulas roll around for us here in the Northern Hemisphere I need to try that Foraxx palette a little bit more - is sure looks awesome here. Lovely colors and separation give a great 3D feel tho this, wonderful work and congratulations!

Many thanks Mike! Appreciate your comments. Yes if you're bored with SHO and using ColorMasks to shift out of the green Foraxx is definitely a new palette to try. The easiest way (unless you want to dabble with PixelMath) is to install the PaulyManAstro utility script.

Re:APOD, they contact me via email 2 or 3 days before the announcement with a temp link to what the page will look like and to verify that the description that they insert is accurate.
