Northern lights over moonlit bog

Beautiful. Hard to pick a favorite but either the first one or the last one. The first for it's panorama view of the scene and the last for the nice framing between the two large trees.

Hey Matti,

Really sweet shots! Hopefully I will get to capture an aurora one day myself!

All of these are great, but I also will pick #1 and 4 as the ones that really stand out to me.

Thanks! Northern lights can be seen here in southern Finland maybe ten times per month, but usually they are but a grayish arc just over the northern horizon. A display of this magnitude happens once a year, maybe twice if we're lucky. Too often we have clouds, so it's even more difficult to see these... And even if everything is good, the auroras can be tricky. Too often I have been late, the best moments can be rather short, maybe ten minutes and that's it.
But that's what makes it fun. The challenge :)

Thanks! The panorama is shot with Laowa 12mm and the rest with Sigma 14mm art. I'm making a review about these two.

Hey Matti, it would be awesome if you could post your review here when you are done with it.

Is it the Sigma 14mm f1.8 you are comparing to the Laowa 12mm? I had looked at the Laowa 12mm a bit before deciding on the Sigma 14mm f1.8. There are some nice features with the Laowa.
